Quick Overview
Starts: Semester 1 2026-27, rehearsals Wednesday evenings from 19:00 – 20:30 in WGB, G08, continues throughout the academic year.
Rehearsals run on Wednesdays with performances scheduled on different days on and off campus, throughout the semester.
The UCC Concert Band is a vibrant and inclusive ensemble bringing together students, staff, alumni and members of the wider community to make music at the heart of university life. Established in 2024, the band has quickly become a key contributor to UCC’s cultural and public facing activity, performing regularly at university events and collaborative concerts.
With a growing membership and a welcoming, non auditioned ethos, the Concert Band is open to wind, brass and percussion players of all backgrounds, offering the opportunity to rehearse and perform a diverse repertoire in a supportive and sociable environment.
