Korean Evening Language Courses

Quick Overview

Participants must be 18 years of age or older.

Korean Beginners 1

This introductory Korean course uses interactive and learner-centered approaches to provide students with a both an enjoyable learning experience and a practical foundation in both the spoken and written Korean language. There is an emphasis on developing basic skills, which would be useful if visiting Korea or meeting a Korean person for the first time. Absolute beginners and those with some knowledge of Korean language welcome.

Start Date: 14th February 2024 (Wednesday)
Time: Wednesday, 6.30 p.m. – 8.30 p.m. (10 Weeks – please note that there will be no class on the 27th March – classes will continue the following week)
Venue: UCC Main Campus, O’Rahilly Building 1.32
Cost: €180 for external applicants; €160 UCC staff/registered student

Korean Beginners 2

This class is for students who have completed the Korean Beginners 1 class.

Start Date: 13rd February 2024 (Tuesday)
Time: Tuesday, 6.30 p.m. – 8.30 p.m. (10 Weeks – please note that there will be no class on the 2nd April – classes will continue the following week)
Venue: UCC, Áras na Laoi G.32
Cost: €180 for external applicants; €160 UCC staff/registered student
