The Business of the Cross: A History of the Crusade is an 8 week short course taught by John Ware

Course Overview:
This course offers a comprehensive introduction to one of the most colourful episodes in the story of Europe and the Middle East, and also serves as a window onto many of the more general aspects of medieval history as a whole. 

Course Lecturer:
John Ware is a part-time lecturer in the School of History UCC, and in Adult Continuing Education. Although trained as a medievalist, he pursues a wide range of historical interests. He is the author of Dirty Shirt, A Green Bough, and The World In A Sandbag.  

Entry Requirements:
Applicants must be at least 18 years old at course commencement.
